Object Types

When you add an object, the types  available are:

• Gate

• Bale

• Rain Gauge

• Water Trough

• Other

Suggested Uses

Gate, rain gauge, and water trough only mark the locations of these objects. However, bale and object can store additional information. 

Bale

The bale object can be used to record supplemental hay. Will add this to herd weight records. 

Other

The "other" object an be used for to represent anything. When adding an "other" object, you can specify the type in the name (ex. Transect1, Dam3, etc). Objects are especially useful for photo monitoring, as it is the only way to upload photos from your computer. However, if you are monitoring the entire pasture, and not transect points, it is suggested to add photos to pastures using pasture inventories (must be done on mobile device).
