Retire a herd for the season

Retiring a herd removes the herd from the Active Herds list while maintaining all animal and grazing records. To retire a herd, the herd must be empty and no longer grazing. Follow the steps below to retire your herd for the season.

1. Suspend grazing for your herd. From the Map tab, click on the icon for the herd you wish to retire. Select "Suspend Grazing".         

2. Remove active animals from the herd. From the animal records list, select the box in the top left corner, then choose "Select All".
3. Select "Cull Animals" and mark your animals as slaughtered, culled, sold, or dead. 
4. Select "Retire" from the upper right corner of your screen.
