What are seasons?
Seasons are based on the growing season of your grass. Depending on your geographical location, you may experience warm season and cool season grasses, which means your warm season grasses may be April 1 to September 30, and your cool season grasses may be October 1 to March 31. If you do not experience warm and cool season grasses, it is recommended to set your season dates on a yearly cycle, such as January 1 to December 31; or for the duration of your grazing.
Ensure the ongoing season is active when making herd movements or any other ranching adjustments.
