When viewing the map page, you will notice there are seven buttons in the blue tool bar on the left side of the map, and three buttons on the right side.
Blue Toolbar
Ranch Overview (House)
In the top left corner is the ranch overview button, which is the shape of a house. When the house is selected, the following information will be displayed:
- Total area mapped
- Total number of live animals
- Herd activity within the account
Magnifier Glass
Below the house is a magnifying glass which allows you to search the names of the pasture you want to view.
Add items to map [+] (square with a plus sign)
Below the magnifier glass is a square with a plus sign. This button allows you to add items to the map:
- Draw Pasture
- Import KML
- Add infrastructure
- Import Soil Data
Item Summary (page with bent top right corner)
The item summary displays all information related to the item selected on the map, such as forage information for the selected pasture.
Data Layers (three squares stacked together)
The Data Layers button allows you to select the layers you want to view on the map.

- Select the color that you want your map to be displayed in.
Wrench (tool)
The wrench tool allows you to use the ruler, print a pdf image of your map, and export your grazing report.
Rain Cloud
The rain cloud allows you to track your rainfall by manually entering your rainfall data or by uploading a CSV file. A CSV file, Comma-Separated Values file, a plain text file format where data is stored in a table structure with each value separated by a comma, and is similiar to a spreadsheet.
Map Imagery (stacked square)
Third button on the right side, below the zoom in and out buttons is a button that looks like two mountains with two lines beneath them, which allows you to change the type of map imagery to view.
When selected, you have three imagery options: satellite (no streets), satellite with streets, or terrain. You may switch between the imagery options as frequently as you like.
