The pasture detail page brings together everything PastureMap tracks for one pasture: its size, forage and grazing stats, subdivisions, the herds on it now, and its full event history. Open it by selecting any pasture on the Pastures page, and use All Pastures at the top left to return to the list.

Pasture summary
The top of the page shows the pasture name with its area and perimeter, followed by a set of stats:
- Animal Days/Acre - the grazing pressure on the pasture, in animal days per acre.
- Forage Grazed - the total forage grazed on the pasture, in pounds.
- Grazable Area - the share of the pasture that is grazable, as a percent.
- Available DM - the most recently recorded available dry matter.
- Grass Type - the pasture's grass or forage type.
- Current Hay Supplement - the hay currently supplemented on the pasture, in pounds.

Pasture actions
The action row below the stats gives you tools for the pasture:
- Adjust Boundaries - opens the edit-boundaries flow on the map. It is available only when the pasture has no active subdivisions. See How to Edit or Delete a Pasture.
- Pasture Note - add a note to the pasture.
- Hay the Pasture - logs a haying event on the pasture. The dialog records a date and time, with an optional photo.
- View Soil Data - opens USDA NRCS soil data for the pasture.
At the top right, View opens the map centered on this pasture, Edit opens the pasture's details for editing, and Delete removes the pasture.
Current subdivisions
If a pasture has been subdivided, its subdivisions appear here, each with its boundary, name, and area. Three actions manage them:
- Adjust Subdivisions - change the subdivision boundaries. See How to Manage Subdivisions.
- Convert to Pastures - opens the map and continues the convert flow. See How to Convert Subdivisions into Independent Pastures.
- Retire Subdivisions - opens the map and continues the retire flow. See How to Retire Subdivisions.
Herds in pasture
This section lists the herds currently on the pasture, each with its animal count and total weight. Select a herd to open it in the Herds module.

Events
The Events list is the pasture's history, newest first. Each entry shows the date, the herd, and what happened, such as a herd currently grazing or a completed grazing period. Use Filter events to narrow the list. Select an event to expand it for the full detail.
